I've made potted plant designs using watercolor and acrylics. Often the colors are muted and earthy so they fit well into many types of home styles such as boho, contemporary, and eclectic. Some may translate well into cottage or farmhouse homes.
PLANT LEAVES
I love working on pieces featuring large plant leaves. I love to use abstract design to portray the shapes and textures of certain plants. I have featured Monstera, banana, and ferns. Some of my pieces are in acrylics and some are watercolor. My favorite look is the white watercolor wash over a dark color.
FLOWERS
Don't forget the flowers! I love flowers too, and I enjoy working on color combinations and boho floral designs. Some of the florals are in watercolor so check out the texture! Like my other art, these tend to be boho and contemporary but would work in many home styles.
